It’s one of the best times of the year in our wonderful state! Idahoans come out of their cabins, break out their light jackets, and head to downtown Boise for the Treefort Music Festival.
As we come upon “festival season,” Delta Dental of Idaho wants to make sure you and your pearly whites are well taken care of. According to new survey results from money-saving website, Offer of the Day, the average festival-goer spends more than $200 on apparel. With that money you could buy a brand-new electronic toothbrush that will change your dental health world for the better!
But, if a new toothbrush is not on the top of your list for this festival season, we understand. Instead, here are some top tips to maintain good oral hygiene at festivals:
- Floss like a boss! Did you know that brushing your teeth only cleans about 60% of the tooth surfaces? Flossing takes care of the rest! When you feel the need to freshen up at Treefort, head to the Delta Dental of Idaho tents near the entrance of food truck row where you’ll find complimentary packages of floss (while supplies last) for your use.
- Use disposable mini toothbrushes. You can brush your teeth on the go any time! These convenient little tools are perfect for festival-goers when moving from one show to the next. They clean your teeth and help freshen breath.
- Drink water! Not only will drinking water throughout the day help your smile by washing away bacteria, it also helps fight dehydration.
If you are one of the thousands who migrate to Treefort in Boise March 20-24, make sure to relax in the Delta Dental of Idaho rest and picnic area near the main stage and pick up some floss!
