According to the legend of the Tooth Fairy, a young fairy loved children so much that she spent her time flying invisibly among them, listening to their songs, stories and laughter. She once comforted a little girl when her tooth fell out, and thereafter became the Tooth Fairy, bringing laughter and gifts to little children when they lose their baby teeth.
So, do you believe it? We’d love to hear your Tooth Fairy tale. Has your little one had a tooth come out in an apple? Did your daughter think the Tooth Fairy was from the North Pole? We want to know!
So, in honor of Children’s Oral Health Month and the Tooth Fairy, Delta Dental of Idaho invites you to submit a short story (a few sentences) about your favorite Tooth Fairy experience.
Your story will enter you into a contest and the winner will receive a gumball machine filled with xylitol gum!
Xylitol, a sweetener derived from the bark of birth trees, has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause cavities. Plus, you won’t taste the difference!
Contest runs through Feb. 28. Visit http://www.facebook.com/deltadentalid?v=app_306225262780703&rest=1 to submit your story.
