Love is in the air this February, but unfortunately, warm temperatures are not. The droll winter chills can leave some of us down in the dumps. If you’re stuck inside with nothing to do, try these boredom busters. Keep your chin up – spring smiles are coming soon!
•Turn your toothbrush into a bracelet.
Make sure you have one left for your teeth!
•Get out the crayons and create a customized Tooth Fairy.
Coloring isn’t just for kids. Channel your inner-child and color solo, or color with your little one.
•Make a DIY travel kit.
Whether it’s spring break or some much-needed PTO – a vacation will be here before you know it. A towel travel tote is perfect for your next getaway.
If you’re still feeling stir-crazy, get out of the house! Try one of these local activities:
•Gaze under the stars in the warm indoors at Faulkner Planetarium on CSI’s campus in Twin Falls. Take your valentine, kiddos, or the whole family!
•Everyone loves a good mystery. Check out the new Crime Scene Insects exhibit at the Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls. Visitors can observe real crime scene insects including carrion beetles and blowflies, and even investigate recreated crime scenes to collect evidence and solve the case.
•If your kids are bouncing off the walls (literally), take them to iJump Trampoline Park, southeast Idaho’s first indoor trampoline park.
These smile ideas are fun ways to pass the time as warmer weather approaches.
